Dreadfulness

Standard

Ha Ha, I found this little post today looking thru my blog.

Since 2010 I have had 3 sets of dreads.

1st set i had about 8 months and cut out when I was headed to on missions trip [ I was afraid I might get lice ]

2nd set, I had for a few month and DID GET LICE!!!! I Have no idea how I got them but I was mad!

3rd set, which was started in sept 2012, just got cut out in august.

They were down past my shoulders when I started and had shrunk up. A lot.

My plan was to have them until I was 50.

They were getting so hard to dry and therefore hard to wash.

They were pretty amazing, I kept the dread in a plastic bag.

in essence I was tired of looking like a fool. My idea/dream of dreads was not the reality.

So, with my hair at about 2 inches the race is on to grow it out again.

Who knows what the Lord or I have in mind for the future.

I’m glad I did it, I have had just about every hair style in the books.

I think it might be time for another tattoo!
