Funny Thing, This Life

Standard

So, life. Funny thing this life.

I have a new client, well 2 clients.  splendid, respectful, gorgeous, professional men. They have show goats.

I feed, water and milk the goats. They are adorable. I feel like a real country girl.

I’m going to be a grandma.  Hubby’s son’s girlfriend is pregnant.

Hubby’s 51st birthday is Monday.

I’m taking my motorcycle training class this next week.

Life, just moving along, things simmering in a pot… job interviews, slowly getting new clients, wondering whether to work or advertise my business more. Bible study choices for the fall. Keeping this pup or adopting her. Weddings and showers fly by.

I’m kinda in this ” I Don’t Know” period of my life, don’t know what to do about work, life, son, volunteering, etc, but I’m also in a place where Im ok with it. So that’s gotta be good.

Son is working at a local sammich making franchise, loving it.

We went to a college prep/advising meeting to discuss his senior year of college and where he wants to go after.

There is a college in another town about 1 1/2 hours away [Kenmore] that has the exact major/career he wants to do.

3 more years of college and have a masters degree. he would be 23 years old and hopefully his whole life ahead to work, work, work, doing something he loves.

Son is struggling right now with what to do with himself after he is turns 18.

He doesn’t want to stay here and abide by our rules, but doesn’t know exactly how to move out, work, school and live.

Something he must decide. Just like every other teen.

son is downstairs now with a friend. We are going to watch Death Race 2000.

Funny thing, this life.

  1. Yep, I agree. Life is a very funny thing. Funny as in “ironic” usually in my case, but a real laugh-out-loud thigh-slapping good time, sometimes, too. 😉

  2. Some struggles, some changes. I am enjoying watching the two of you grow. My heart leaps every time I see the smile on your face with your passion for riding. Go girl and may God keep you safe. Love you sweetie!
