Anna Bella ~ Stage 2 & What Was I Thinking?

Standard

Anna Bella has stage 2 mast cell cancer.

Of course stage 2 is the ‘iffy’ stage.

Stage 1, there is no spreading of the cells.

Stage 3 there is definitely spreading in to organs of cells.

Stage 2 is where it could be spread but more tests are needed.

The next step is an ultrasound of her abdomen cavity to see if its in her spleen. Spleen can be taken out if needed.

She is to be watched very careful for at least a year. If tumor free for a year, they are considered ‘cured’ but ya never know in life, eh?

Hubby has to make the decision whether to do an ultrasound. Then we wait and watch.

Cancer sucks, even in animals!

Son: had his first round of allergy shots, he is pretty much allergic to the outside! Trees, grasses, weeds and dust mites.

Now he is laying in bed, milking his flu symptoms for all they are worth.

How in the world do I expect to be able to go to college every day when I can’t even get myself to go to bible study every Tuesday and to the Humane Society on Fridays?

Why do I think I can make it to school when I have to do anything on a schedule, I think in my mind “I’m a rebel, I’m not catering to any old schedule, I’m staying home today”

How can I handle the pressure of homework when I can’t even get the youth bible study pre-work done?

How could I handle the pressure of getting grades when a tumor, allergy shots twice a week and basement construction throw me into a tizzy and wanting to down massive amounts of vodka, only to re-consider and eat a whole cake in 2 days and 2 bags of licorce?

From Jude. What do these verses say to you?

17But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. 18They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” 19These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.

20But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. 21Keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

22Be merciful to those who doubt; 23snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.

In Him, Kristina

  1. You can’t do it. But (a little out of context) “He who promised is able,” and that’s no crap.

    Love you.

Assignment (even if you hate, hate, hate country music):
    Rodney Adkins’ “Going Through Hell.”

    Here: http://play.rhapsody.com/rodneyatkins/ifyouregoingthroughhell
    Track 10.
    Repeat. Over and over.
    It’s my theme song. 🙂
    Keep on movin’.
~~I was with you until they started talking about alcohol. Dang country music, it makes me want to drink. and cry. and kick someones butt. 🙂

  2. Why do I think I can…

Simple: These are very different things. You are motivated to go to school.

Sorry to hear your boy is sick. Me too. It sucks. And I am also milking this for all its worth.
~~Sorry to hear you are sick, hope you get better soon, the content of your blog is suffering *she says tongue in cheek*

  3. Oh and about Anna…

Cancer sucks. I hope in Anna’s case it hasn’t spread anywhere.
~~hubby decided we are gonna get an ultrasound, then worry about anything else after the results. One day at a time 🙂

  4. Oh my…sounds like a fun time at your house…would you like to come over for some Malibu Sunrises and Chocolate Cake?

I hear ya about college…however I DID finally give up on trying to GO to college…I’m doing it all online…LOL!

~~no Malibu, thats alcohol, right? But the cake, I’m in! Still undecided about the college, I have to wait until the 21st to take the test, then i have until end of. Feb to get registered, maybe by then things will be settled down.

  5. I thought it particularly appliccable *because* they mentioned it! Anyway, sorry if it increased the temptation. Country is good exercise music, some of it–particularly the butt-kicking songs. I limit my intake, though, because I hate the stuff about leaving your wife and… other things.

Eh, the older I get, the more jadedly I hate even the love songs.

BTW, I’ve seen Pastor Melissa Scott a couple times lately, and… she’s interesting. I don’t think it’s just a show. I haven’t heard her say anything really out there, and she seems very well versed in her material. But they had an ad for something extremely um… gross… right after her program. Wondering how accidentally that was programmed (not necessarily her fault).

~~no worries, anything about now makes me want to drink. and yeah the love songs, ewww. I really don’t have a problem with M. Scott, i have liked her teaching the few times i saw her, and i never saw any red flags either. I think some people don’t like that kind of teaching/preaching, so they think anyone who does it is heretical. God can do great things, even change a porn star to a child of God.
