Ok, It’s Friday. As I shove down biscotti dipped in coffee, waiting for the aspirin to kick the crap out of my head ache, I’m looking around, sighing.
A day in the life:
The living room is full of sermon CD’s, tapes and bulletins (we are getting stuff together to put in our new library room at church)
We have an entertainment center, TV and two game systems sitting on the floor waiting to be sold on Craigslist.
A pile of stuffed animals with stuffing hanging out of them. Anna Bella’s toys. We were playing this morning.
My ‘craft’ room was in shambles because we re-did sons room, he had announced he was too big for the bunk-beds and TV in his room, so everything he didn’t want went into the craft room for re-organization.
Altho, he seems quite young enough for the bed to be on the floor and 800 penguins on a bookcase, will have to take a picture of that soon.
He is being a good boy and helping his momma with the sermon cassettes, so his floor is filled with them, also.
I have bibles laying around downstairs, getting ready to ship them to South India, some rubbermaid boxes full of sons old stuff and way too many blankets stuffed under the stairs. How many blankets does one family really need?
There is also a huge antique table, 4 chairs and china and stuff from someone else we are trying to sell on craigslist.
I LOVE having my very own deacon! It totally rocks!
Back to my whining…I’m procrastinating, I need to workout, take the ‘tax letter’ in today, the box of bibles to USPS and go to the local thrift store to drop stuff off, pick up the boy from school. My car is full.
Oh, Yah, my car has been recalled!
Well, they call it ”fan control module special service program.”
But its a recall. So now, I’m paranoid I’m going to blow up when I’m driving the kids to school! 🙂
Luckily, or blessedly, I have my very own superdeacon to take care of that for me.
AND my oven is broken, again, for the third time in 3 years. The computer panel just goes out. Its a Amana flat ceramic top convection oven. Pretty soon the lemon law will kick in and I can get a new one. But, for now, we eat out and microwave stuff. That means a trip to the grocery store.
So, off I go to get my home engineering duties completed for the day.
I will go now and pray and thank the Lord up above that I am even able to do all these things and have all things and ask Him to give me His joy in all I do!
